The
Jackson Business and Professional Women meet Monday,
January 8, 2007, at 6 p.m. at HoneyBaked Ham on Vann
Drive.
"Our
normal meeting date is the first Monday each month,
but in January we will be meeting on the second
Monday," announced president Jacque Hillman.
Amy
Elizer, Madison County Extension Agent, challenges
those attending with her program topic "Are You
Label Able?" This will be a very informative
presentation about reading labels on food products.
Members will finalize plans for the organization's
first Individual Development seminars Saturday,
January 20, 2007.
Registration is due no later than January 15, 2007,
to Beth Bates.

Members and guests who plan to attend the January
meeting need to call HoneyBaked,

to order their meal. The public is invited to attend

The
Jackson Business and Professional Women named Doris Freeman their
Woman of Achievement for 2006
today at
the Brown Bag Luncheon held at the Jackson-Madison County Library in
conjunction with National
Business
Women’s Week, October 16-20.
Ms. Freeman
